Loom Hats

These are the first hats I've made with the Knifty Knitter Looms. They all pretty much look the same size, but they aren't. I should have taken a picture of them all together for reference.

It was super easy and quick!

Ricky's Hat - Youth {Red Loom}

Bella's Hat: Child {Red Loom}

Mary's Hat: Adult{Yellow Loom}

Warren's Hat: Toddler {Green Loom}

Since Bella and Ricky are different sizes, I was able to use the same size loom, by not dong as many rows for the hat and making the rim shorter.

Embroidery Comp Book

This is one of the first In The Hoop {ITH} Projects I have done with my embroidery machine.

I did change the monogran frame from a Rounded Square, to a Bracket Square.

Lilly Poncho

I made this for Lilly quite a while ago and just now am remembering to post.

 I made it a size 8, which turned out bigger than that.  She is growing into it now.

She really likes it.  Alot of times she throws it on just to sit and watcch TV.

I wish I had done the 2 color version, so the pattern would show up better, but overall I am happy with it.

Halloween 2012

I made these up at the last minute, for my nieces/nephews and grandkids.  About 9 treat bags.

Even though my daughter {12} is too old to take a class treat in for Halloween, I just couldn't let the holiday go by without making anything!!!

Baby Marcy Afghan

I made this for my new Grand-Baby Marcy.  Since I had made this pattern in blue for her brother Warren, I decided she should have the same in pink.

This is one of my favorite baby afghan patterns.

No-Sew Braided Fleece Throw - Pop-pop

My daughter Devon made this for her Dad for Father's Day "from the grandkids".  It even says PopPop on it, which is what the grandkids call him.

I love the braided edge vs. the tied edge.  We found the tutorial here:

Double Layered No-Sew "Braided" Fleece Blanket Tutorial

Devon cut the strips around the edge 1.5 inches long, and 1 inch wide.

I picked up Joann's large cutting mat: 36x59 Cutting Mat which worked much better than the smaller mats on the Living Room Floor.

To snip the fleece we used: Fiskars Softouch Micro-Tip Scissors

Mini Comp and Bookmark 5

I have made a few of these  Mini Composition Books with matching Bookmark sets.

I was in a Crochet Afghan Square Swap these last 12 months, and included these in as a little extra gift.  I crocheted the flower because I thought it was more fitting because it was a Crochet Swap.
